Details

A pebble. The back and both arms are one continuous wall of upholstery that wraps almost all the way round and stops just short of closing, and the seat is a second rounded volume dropped inside it.

There are no legs and no visible base. The whole thing meets the floor along a curve, which is why it looks as though it has been set down rather than placed.

In cognac. Sold on its own here; two of them come with the Abside Sofa as a set, at less than buying them separately.

Care

Vacuum on a low setting with an upholstery head, following the curve of the shell. Blot spills straight away with a clean, dry cloth, working from the outside in. Do not rub. A napped cloth shades with the direction you brush it. Sweep it back one way with a soft brush and it evens out. The chair meets the floor on a curve rather than on feet. Lift it rather than dragging it, or it will scuff a hard floor. Keep it out of direct sun.

Warranty

Two years, in line with Swiss statutory warranty. Covered: faults in the inner frame, the base and the upholstery seams. Not covered: normal wear, the foam softening with use, and fading in direct sunlight. Write to us through the contact form with your order number and a photo, and we will sort it out.

What if it arrives damaged?

Inspect the delivery before signing. If anything is wrong, photograph it and contact client services within 48 hours — we will arrange a replacement part, a replacement or a return.
