Details
A wide three-seater in cream, built out of straight, generous blocks: a deep base, two upright arms and three loose seat cushions that sit level with the arm tops. Nothing tapers and nothing curves.
What holds it together is a fine cord sewn into every edge. It traces the arms, the base, the back and each cushion, and it is the reason a piece this soft still reads as a drawn shape rather than a pile of upholstery.
The back is finished like the front, so it can stand away from a wall.
This listing is the sofa on its own. Choose Sofa and two armchairs above and the two matching chairs from the photograph come with it, cut from the same run of cloth — CHF 2'990 for the three pieces, where buying them separately comes to CHF 3'370. You can also buy the Ample Armchair on its own.

Delivery & returns
Made to order, 6 to 8 weeks. Order the set and the sofa and both chairs are cut from the same run of cloth. Ordered months apart, cream can shift slightly between runs. Delivered to your door anywhere in Switzerland, free at this price.

Care
Vacuum on a low setting with an upholstery head. Blot spills straight away with a clean, dry cloth, working from the outside in. Do not rub. Run the vacuum head along the cord rather than across it, so the piping is not pulled. Turn the three seat cushions end to end every few months so they wear evenly. Keep it out of direct sun. Cream fades unevenly where a shaft of light falls on it every day.
Warranty
Two years, in line with Swiss statutory warranty. Covered: faults in the inner frame, the base and the upholstery seams. Not covered: normal wear, the foam softening with use, and fading in direct sunlight. Write to us through the contact form with your order number and a photo, and we will sort it out.

What if it arrives damaged?
Inspect the delivery before signing. If anything is wrong, photograph it and contact client services within 48 hours — we will arrange a replacement part, a replacement or a return.

Placing it
Leave it room to be a shape.
A rounded sofa loses what makes it good when it is pushed flat against a wall. Ten centimetres of air behind it is enough for the curve of the back to read, and it is the difference between a piece of furniture and a fitting.
Leave 80 to 90 cm of clear floor in front for people to pass, and set the coffee table about 40 cm off the seat so you can reach it without standing up.
The back is upholstered like the front, so it can stand in the middle of a room with nothing behind it.
