In a room, to scale

Details
A round rug with a radiating relief. Pale ivory lines are cut into a soft grey ground, dense around the rim and opening toward the middle, so the centre stays quiet and the border does the work.
Round changes a room more than a rectangle does. It follows a curved sofa instead of arguing with it, marks a seating area without squaring it off, and settles a space that has no straight wall to line up against.
Cut pile in New Zealand wool with silk and nylon, handmade. It is washable, reversible and stain resistant, with a non-slip and antimicrobial finish, and it is safe around pets — which is why it holds up in a room that gets used rather than admired.
Three diameters: 160, 200 and 250 cm. Delivered rolled, anywhere in Switzerland, in about two weeks. Give it a day or two to lie flat.

Care
Washable. Vacuum on a low setting between washes. Blot spills with a clean, dry cloth rather than rubbing them into the pile. Dry flat, away from direct heat.
Warranty
Two years, in line with Swiss statutory warranty. Covered: faults in the pile, the backing and the bound edge. Not covered: normal wear, flattening under furniture legs, and fading in direct sunlight. Write to us through the contact form with your order number and a photo, and we will sort it out.
Good to know
Will it fit through my door?
Each module ships in its own package. Package dimensions: Delivered rolled. A standard 80 cm door is sufficient.
Does assembly require tools?
None. Unroll and let it settle for a day or two.
What if it arrives damaged?
Inspect the delivery before signing. If anything is wrong, photograph it and contact client services within 48 hours — we will arrange a replacement part, a replacement or a return.
Can I return it?
Yes. See our returns page for the return window and the procedure for oversized items.
How do I clean it?
Washable. Vacuum on a low setting between washes. Blot spills with a clean, dry cloth rather than rubbing them into the pile. Dry flat, away from direct heat.
Can I order fabric samples?
Fabric samples will be available shortly. Contact client services in the meantime.
Placing it
Two rules and you are done.
Leave 20 to 30 cm of bare floor between the rug and the wall. A rug that runs wall to wall reads as carpet, not as a rug, and the room loses its edges.
Then take the size where at least the front legs of every seat stand on it. Furniture floating off the edge is what makes a living room look unfinished, and it is the single most common mistake with rugs.
Under a dining table the rule changes: add 60 cm on every side so the chairs stay on the rug when they are pulled out.

What we commit to
No reviews yet. Here is what we put in writing instead.
The shop is new, so there is nothing to quote and we will not invent anything. These four are checkable, and they are the ones that actually carry the risk of buying a rug you have not stood on.
