Details
A half-circle, built from two curved modules that meet in one seam across the middle. The back rises only at the centre and rolls away to nothing at both ends, so each end finishes as an open, backless curve you can lie along.
There are no arms and no legs. The body meets the floor on a continuous curved plinth, and the back cushions are loose, so where the back is depends on where you put them.
Drawn to stand away from the wall, around a round table or a rug, rather than pushed into a corner. In a room with square walls it is the piece that softens everything else.

Sofas are made to order and take 6 to 8 weeks. It arrives as two curved modules, which is what makes a half-circle this size possible in a normal stairwell. Carton sizes and weights — [TO CONFIRM]. A curve needs floor around it. Send us the room and we will tell you whether it has space to be a half-circle rather than a wall. Delivered to your door anywhere in Switzerland, free at this price.

Care
Vacuum on a low setting with an upholstery head, following the curve rather than working across it. Blot spills straight away with a clean, dry cloth, working from the outside in. Do not rub. A napped cloth shades with the direction you brush it. Sweep it back one way with a soft brush and it evens out. The two modules stand free. Check the seam between them now and then and push them back together. Keep it out of direct sun. Cream fades unevenly where a shaft of light falls on it every day.
Warranty
Two years, in line with Swiss statutory warranty. Covered: faults in the inner frame, the base and the upholstery seams. Not covered: normal wear, the foam softening with use, and fading in direct sunlight. Write to us through the contact form with your order number and a photo, and we will sort it out.

What if it arrives damaged?
Inspect the delivery before signing. If anything is wrong, photograph it and contact client services within 48 hours — we will arrange a replacement part, a replacement or a return.

Placing it
Leave it room to be a shape.
A rounded sofa loses what makes it good when it is pushed flat against a wall. Ten centimetres of air behind it is enough for the curve of the back to read, and it is the difference between a piece of furniture and a fitting.
Leave 80 to 90 cm of clear floor in front for people to pass, and set the coffee table about 40 cm off the seat so you can reach it without standing up.
The back is upholstered like the front, so it can stand in the middle of a room with nothing behind it.
