Details
A corner sofa in mocha, with the whole seat worked into a grid of square tufts. The squares are large and shallow rather than deep and buttoned, so the surface reads as a quiet pattern in raking light and disappears altogether in flat light.
Three loose back cushions along the run, none on the chaise, which leaves the corner open as a place to put your legs up rather than as another seat.
The arms are low and wide enough to sit on. The whole thing stands on a recessed dark plinth, so from a few steps away it appears to float.

Sofas are made to order and take 6 to 8 weeks. It ships vacuum-compressed, which is how a sofa this size gets up a normal stairwell. Carton sizes and weights — [TO CONFIRM]. This is a large piece: 180 cm deep and up to 300 cm long. Send us the room, the door and the stairwell before you order and we will check it goes. Care
Vacuum on a low setting with an upholstery head, working into the tufted squares rather than across them. Blot spills straight away with a clean, dry cloth, working from the outside in. Do not rub. Turn the three back cushions end to end every few months so they wear evenly. Whether the covers come off for washing — [TO CONFIRM]. Until we have that in writing, treat them as fixed. Keep it out of direct sun.
Warranty
Two years, in line with Swiss statutory warranty. Covered: faults in the inner frame, the plinth and the upholstery seams. Not covered: normal wear, the foam softening with use, and fading in direct sunlight. Write to us through the contact form with your order number and a photo, and we will sort it out.

What if it arrives damaged?

Placing it
Leave it room to be a shape.
A rounded sofa loses what makes it good when it is pushed flat against a wall. Ten centimetres of air behind it is enough for the curve of the back to read, and it is the difference between a piece of furniture and a fitting.
Leave 80 to 90 cm of clear floor in front for people to pass, and set the coffee table about 40 cm off the seat so you can reach it without standing up.
The back is upholstered like the front, so it can stand in the middle of a room with nothing behind it.
