Details
Three squares across the front, three across the back: three seat modules, three back cushions, and two arms so wide and so low that they read as a fourth and fifth block rather than as arms at all.
The corduroy is a fine, close rib that runs vertically everywhere — down the arms, down the back, down the outside — which is what keeps a sofa built entirely from rectangles from looking blunt.
The base is recessed and dark, so the whole mass appears to sit just clear of the floor.

Delivery & returns
Sofas are made to order and take 6 to 8 weeks. It ships vacuum-compressed, which is how a 300 cm sofa gets up a normal stairwell. Carton sizes and weights — [TO CONFIRM]. At 98 cm deep this is a substantial piece even in the short length. Send us the room, the door and the stairwell and we will check it goes. Delivered to your door anywhere in Switzerland, free at this price.

Care
Vacuum on a low setting with an upholstery head, running it along the ribs and never across them. Blot spills straight away with a clean, dry cloth, working from the outside in. Do not rub. Corduroy shows pressure marks where someone has sat. Brush the pile back along the rib and it lifts again. Swap the three back cushions around every few months so they wear evenly. The maker lists the covers as removable — [TO CONFIRM]. Until we have that in writing, do not attempt to take them off. Keep it out of direct sun.
Warranty
Two years, in line with Swiss statutory warranty. Covered: faults in the inner frame, the plinth and the upholstery seams. Not covered: normal wear, the foam softening with use, flattened pile where the sofa is sat on most, and fading in direct sunlight. What if it arrives damaged?
Inspect the delivery before signing. If anything is wrong, photograph it and contact client services within 48 hours — we will arrange a replacement part, a replacement or a return.

Placing it
Leave it room to be a shape.
A rounded sofa loses what makes it good when it is pushed flat against a wall. Ten centimetres of air behind it is enough for the curve of the back to read, and it is the difference between a piece of furniture and a fitting.
Leave 80 to 90 cm of clear floor in front for people to pass, and set the coffee table about 40 cm off the seat so you can reach it without standing up.
The back is upholstered like the front, so it can stand in the middle of a room with nothing behind it.
