Details
Three slabs, stacked. Two long rolled platforms lie one on the other and the mattress sits on top of them, each layer stepping in slightly from the one below, so the bed reads as a low pile of soft blocks rather than as a frame.
Behind it a headboard of the same depth, with two loose cushions leaned against it. Take the cushions away and it is a daybed. Put them back and it is a bed you can sit up in and read.
Everything is upholstered in the same cream bouclé, down to the floor. There is no hard edge anywhere on it.

Delivery & returns
Beds are made to order and take 6 to 8 weeks. This one arrives in two cartons, each 41 × 46 × 201 cm, 91 kg in total. That is long and heavy, so two people are needed at the door. Measure your stairwell, lift and door frames before ordering, and tell us if any of them are tight. Delivered to your door anywhere in Switzerland, free at this price.

Care
Vacuum on a low setting with an upholstery head, including the sides of each slab. Blot spills straight away with a clean, dry cloth, working from the outside in. Do not rub. Brush the bouclé back in one direction after cleaning, so the loops read evenly. Turn the two back cushions end to end every few months so they wear evenly. The bed sits on the floor along its whole footprint. Lift it rather than dragging it. Keep it out of direct sun. Cream fabric fades unevenly where a shaft of light falls on it every day.
Warranty
Two years, in line with Swiss statutory warranty. Covered: faults in the inner frame and the upholstery seams. Not covered: normal wear, the foam softening with use, and fading in direct sunlight. Write to us through the contact form with your order number and a photo, and we will sort it out.

What if it arrives damaged?
Inspect the delivery before signing. If anything is wrong, photograph it and contact client services within 48 hours — we will arrange a replacement part, a replacement or a return.

Placing it
Measure the room before the bed.
An upholstered bed takes more floor than its mattress. Work from the outside measurement, not the mattress size, and leave 60 cm of clear floor along each side you want to walk down.
The headboard is soft, so it can sit against a wall without a gap and without marking the plaster. Off the wall it reads as a piece of furniture instead of a fitting.
The tightest part of the delivery is rarely the bedroom. It is the stairwell, the lift and the door frame. Send us those measurements and we will tell you whether it goes.
