Details

A run of rounded flutes in cream bouclé, stood side by side like organ pipes. At one end they rise into a low back and a soft arm; at the other they simply stop, and the last one lifts clear of the floor on a slim brass-toned rail.

It reads as a bench from the open end and as a small sofa from the closed one. Behind it the flutes are as finished as they are in front, so it can stand away from a wall.

In cream, in two lengths: 120 and 140 cm.

Vacuum on a low setting with an upholstery head, running it along the flutes rather than across them. Blot spills straight away with a clean, dry cloth, working from the outside in. Do not rub. Brush the pile back in one direction after cleaning, so the flutes read evenly. Wipe the metal rail with a dry cloth. On a hard floor, a felt pad under the rail keeps it from marking.

Warranty

Two years, in line with Swiss statutory warranty. Covered: faults in the wooden frame, the base rail and the upholstery seams. Not covered: normal wear, the foam softening with use, and fading in direct sunlight. Write to us through the contact form with your order number and a photo, and we will sort it out.

What if it arrives damaged?

Inspect the delivery before signing. If anything is wrong, photograph it and contact client services within 48 hours — we will arrange a replacement part, a replacement or a return.

How do I clean it?

Placing it

Where a chair would be in the way.

At the end of a bed, take the length that stops short of the mattress on both sides rather than matching it exactly. 100 cm suits a 140 cm bed, 120 cm suits a 160 or 180.

In a hallway, leave at least 90 cm of clear floor in front of it so two people can still pass. The seat is 42 cm high, which is normal chair height, so it works for putting on shoes as well as for sitting.

Under a window, keep it off the wall by a few centimetres. The steel base is visible from the side and the gap is what makes it read as furniture rather than as built-in seating.
