Details
Cream bouclé channelled into wide horizontal bands that run the whole way round — across the seat, up the back, and out along the arms, which curve forward at each end like the sides of a tub. There is not a straight line or a sharp corner anywhere on it.
The maker builds it without a wooden frame. The structure is the foam itself, which is why it can be compressed for shipping and why the whole thing gives when you sit down rather than resisting for the first inch.
90 cm deep and 65 cm high, so it sits low and reads soft even in a hard room.
In three lengths: 120 cm for a corner, 160 for two, 210 for three.

Care
Vacuum on a low setting with an upholstery head, following the channels rather than crossing them. Blot spills straight away with a clean, dry cloth, working from the outside in. Do not rub. Brush the bouclé back in one direction after cleaning, so the loops read evenly. There is no frame under the upholstery. Do not sit or stand on the arms, and lift it from underneath rather than by an arm. Keep it out of direct sun. Cream fades unevenly where a shaft of light falls on it every day.
Warranty
Two years, in line with Swiss statutory warranty. Covered: faults in the upholstery seams and in the foam structure. Not covered: normal wear, the foam softening with use, damage from sitting or standing on the arms, and fading in direct sunlight. Write to us through the contact form with your order number and a photo, and we will sort it out.

What if it arrives damaged?
Inspect the delivery before signing. If anything is wrong, photograph it and contact client services within 48 hours — we will arrange a replacement part, a replacement or a return.

Placing it
Leave it room to be a shape.
A rounded sofa loses what makes it good when it is pushed flat against a wall. Ten centimetres of air behind it is enough for the curve of the back to read, and it is the difference between a piece of furniture and a fitting.
Leave 80 to 90 cm of clear floor in front for people to pass, and set the coffee table about 40 cm off the seat so you can reach it without standing up.
The back is upholstered like the front, so it can stand in the middle of a room with nothing behind it.
