Details
A charcoal bed drawn with one line. A fine piped seam runs the whole outline of the headboard and along the top edge of the base, and it is the only detail on the piece — the thing that keeps a large, soft mass from going shapeless.
The headboard leans back a few degrees rather than standing upright, which is what makes it comfortable to sit against without a pillow behind you. The base is deep, upholstered to the floor, with a cut-out at the foot end.

Delivery & returns
Beds are made to order and take 6 to 8 weeks. This one arrives in one carton, 46 × 51 × 201 cm and 76 kg. That is heavy and long, so two people are needed at the door. Measure your stairwell, lift and door frames before ordering, and tell us if any of them are tight. Delivered to your door anywhere in Switzerland, free at this price.

Care
Vacuum on a low setting with an upholstery head, including the sides of the base. Blot spills straight away with a clean, dry cloth, working from the outside in. Do not rub. Run the vacuum head along the piping rather than across it, so the cord is not pulled. The base sits on the floor along its whole footprint. Lift it rather than dragging it. Keep it out of direct sun. Dark fabric shows fading sooner than pale fabric does.
Warranty
Two years, in line with Swiss statutory warranty. Covered: faults in the inner frame, the sprung base and the upholstery seams. Not covered: normal wear, the foam softening with use, and fading in direct sunlight. Write to us through the contact form with your order number and a photo, and we will sort it out.

What if it arrives damaged?
Inspect the delivery before signing. If anything is wrong, photograph it and contact client services within 48 hours — we will arrange a replacement part, a replacement or a return.

Placing it
Measure the room before the bed.
An upholstered bed takes more floor than its mattress. Work from the outside measurement, not the mattress size, and leave 60 cm of clear floor along each side you want to walk down.
The headboard is soft, so it can sit against a wall without a gap and without marking the plaster. Off the wall it reads as a piece of furniture instead of a fitting.
The tightest part of the delivery is rarely the bedroom. It is the stairwell, the lift and the door frame. Send us those measurements and we will tell you whether it goes.
