Details
A camel sofa in a soft napped cloth that takes the light like suede, with a fine cord sewn along every edge in the same colour. Two blocks, three loose back cushions, and arms squared off flush with the seat.
Between the modules, at the front and the back, sits a short tan leather tab. It is how the blocks are held to each other, and it is the only thing on the sofa that is a different colour — which makes an otherwise very quiet piece worth walking round.
There is no wooden frame inside it. The foam is the structure, so it compresses for shipping and gives the moment you sit.

Care
Vacuum on a low setting with an upholstery head. Blot spills straight away with a clean, dry cloth, working from the outside in. Do not rub. A napped cloth marks with the direction you brush it. Sweep it back one way with a soft brush and the shading evens out. Wipe the leather tabs with a dry cloth only. Do not use upholstery cleaner on them. There is no frame under the upholstery. Do not sit or stand on the arms, and lift it from underneath rather than by an arm. Keep it out of direct sun. Camel fades faster than it looks like it will.
Warranty
Two years, in line with Swiss statutory warranty. Covered: faults in the upholstery seams, the connecting tabs and the foam structure. Not covered: normal wear, the foam softening with use, damage from sitting or standing on the arms, and fading in direct sunlight. What if it arrives damaged?
Inspect the delivery before signing. If anything is wrong, photograph it and contact client services within 48 hours — we will arrange a replacement part, a replacement or a return.

Placing it
Leave it room to be a shape.
A rounded sofa loses what makes it good when it is pushed flat against a wall. Ten centimetres of air behind it is enough for the curve of the back to read, and it is the difference between a piece of furniture and a fitting.
Leave 80 to 90 cm of clear floor in front for people to pass, and set the coffee table about 40 cm off the seat so you can reach it without standing up.
The back is upholstered like the front, so it can stand in the middle of a room with nothing behind it.
