Details

A deep bouclé cushion drawn into a grid of soft squares, edged with a piped seam and set on four dark turned legs. The tufting is what gives the piece its depth: each square puffs between the seams, so the surface has relief even before anyone sits on it.

The legs taper to a narrow foot, which keeps a heavy-looking bench from feeling planted. In camel or ivory, in three lengths: 80, 100 and 120 cm.

Assembly: None. The bench arrives assembled; unpack it and set it down.

Vacuum on a low setting with an upholstery head. Keep the beater bar off; it pulls the loops. Work the nozzle into the tufted seams; dust settles in the grooves before it settles on the squares. A pulled loop is snipped level with scissors, never pulled out. Blot spills straight away with a clean, dry cloth, working from the outside in. Do not rub. Wipe the legs with a barely damp cloth and dry them afterwards.

Warranty

Two years, in line with Swiss statutory warranty. Covered: faults in the inner frame, the legs, the tufting and the piped seams. Not covered: normal wear, the foam softening with use, pulled loops from sharp objects, and fading in direct sunlight. Write to us through the contact form with your order number and a photo, and we will sort it out.

Does assembly require tools?

None. The bench arrives assembled; unpack it and set it down.

What if it arrives damaged?

Inspect the delivery before signing. If anything is wrong, photograph it and contact client services within 48 hours — we will arrange a replacement part, a replacement or a return.

Can I return it?

Placing it

Where a chair would be in the way.

At the end of a bed, take the length that stops short of the mattress on both sides rather than matching it exactly. 100 cm suits a 140 cm bed, 120 cm suits a 160 or 180.

In a hallway, leave at least 90 cm of clear floor in front of it so two people can still pass. The seat is 42 cm high, which is normal chair height, so it works for putting on shoes as well as for sitting.

Under a window, keep it off the wall by a few centimetres. The steel base is visible from the side and the gap is what makes it read as furniture rather than as built-in seating.
