Details
A deep, pale grey sofa where nothing is firm. The seat cushions are wide and overfilled, the back cushions sit loose against a straight back, and the arms are two long bolsters laid flat on the frame rather than built into it — so the whole thing is a set of pillows on a low box.
The cloth is a soft plush that shifts between silver and warm grey as the light moves across it. It shows every handprint and every crease, which is either the point or it is not.
92 cm deep, so it takes a full-depth wall. In three lengths: 200, 250 and 300 cm.

Sofas are made to order and take 6 to 8 weeks. It ships vacuum-compressed and needs no assembly, which is how a 300 cm sofa gets up a normal stairwell. Carton sizes and weights — [TO CONFIRM]. Sweep the pile back in one direction with a soft brush and it settles. Plump and turn the seat and back cushions weekly. On a sofa this soft that is the difference between five years and ten. Warranty
Two years, in line with Swiss statutory warranty. Covered: faults in the inner frame, the plinth and the upholstery seams. Placing it
Leave it room to be a shape.
A rounded sofa loses what makes it good when it is pushed flat against a wall. Ten centimetres of air behind it is enough for the curve of the back to read, and it is the difference between a piece of furniture and a fitting.
Leave 80 to 90 cm of clear floor in front for people to pass, and set the coffee table about 40 cm off the seat so you can reach it without standing up.
The back is upholstered like the front, so it can stand in the middle of a room with nothing behind it.
