Details
Two charcoal blocks pushed together, and that is the whole sofa. The arms are thick rounded tubes that turn the corner and run straight into the back, so from the side the piece is one closed rectangle with the edges taken off.
There is no wooden frame inside it. The foam is the structure, which is why it compresses for shipping and why it gives the moment you sit rather than resisting for the first inch.
Two loose cushions in the same cloth, and a base recessed so far under the body that the sofa appears to sit straight on the floor.

Care
Vacuum on a low setting with an upholstery head. Blot spills straight away with a clean, dry cloth, working from the outside in. Do not rub. There is no frame under the upholstery. Do not sit or stand on the arms, and lift it from underneath rather than by an arm. Push the modules back together now and then; they stand side by side rather than bolting. The maker lists the covers as removable — [TO CONFIRM]. Until we have that in writing, do not attempt to take them off. Keep it out of direct sun. Dark cloth shows fading sooner than pale cloth does.
Warranty
Two years, in line with Swiss statutory warranty. Covered: faults in the upholstery seams and in the foam structure. Not covered: normal wear, the foam softening with use, damage from sitting or standing on the arms, and fading in direct sunlight. What if it arrives damaged?
Inspect the delivery before signing. If anything is wrong, photograph it and contact client services within 48 hours — we will arrange a replacement part, a replacement or a return.

Placing it
Leave it room to be a shape.
A rounded sofa loses what makes it good when it is pushed flat against a wall. Ten centimetres of air behind it is enough for the curve of the back to read, and it is the difference between a piece of furniture and a fitting.
Leave 80 to 90 cm of clear floor in front for people to pass, and set the coffee table about 40 cm off the seat so you can reach it without standing up.
The back is upholstered like the front, so it can stand in the middle of a room with nothing behind it.
